![]() ![]() Here comes the part I'd like opinions on - preferably with minimal spoilers - Should I try to get him to marry Anora or not? Try not to think about this in terms of whether or not you feel Alistair would be a good king, or whatnot. So while I know a lot of you probably did make him king, for me, this is a necessary evil. Everything was always decided *for* him - as he puts it, no one ever asked what *he* wanted. That's something I can relate to strongly. The thing is, Alistair has never had any agency in his life. I'd keep him as a Gray Warden this playthrough, but having played Inquisition, I know why that isn't a good idea. Meeting him as a drunk in DAII felt bad as well. My second playthrough I spared Loghain and Alistair left and became a drunk. ![]() I felt terrible about that - Alistair was a fixture in my party by this point and I was pretty attached to him. ![]() My first playthrough of the game Alistair ended up dying to kill the archdemon, because I didn't trust Morrigan's ritual (I thought she was acting strangely and worried she was possessed by Flemeth). ![]() Halfway through, in fact, so it's about time I ask for people's thoughts (preferably with minimal spoilers) on something that I've been debating. So, I'm working on another playthrough of DA:O. ![]()
